Rheumatoid Arthritis
Laura Atkins was diagnosed in 2012 with Rheumatoid Arthritis Disease (aka. RA) and had to retire from her surgical nurse career because she could no longer stand on her feet for hours and also finding it very difficult to hang on to the instruments that the doctors would require. In brief RA is a misunderstood disease that people truly do not have the understanding on what to look for. Hopefully this short article will help from the MAYO CLINIC. In the meantime, Laura has underwent three major surgeries on her feet and hands and hopefully will be able to continue her marvelous work as an artist.
